Very good shot! It would be perfect if you play with shadow/highlight and curves.

I agree with rodion .. some areas are too washed out and some were dark. to balance them u would need to play around with curves and levels . It might be good choice for b&w too.. Very Good composition....

In fact, I worked on contrasts, but too much obviously. Thanks for your advises, i really need some, you'll see that on many of my shots!

Where do people find these abandoned places?! I find on Flickr there are a lot of really cool abandoned places. They are always very creepy but create excellent photos. I like this one - another technique you can use is a dodge/burn layer in photoshop. (Assuming you are using photoshop) you can go to "Create New Layer" and set blend mode to Overlay and check the box about "50% grey". This makes a grey layer above the photo but you cannot detect it with your eye until you draw on it. If you draw with a black paint brush it will make the area of the photo darker and a white paintbrush makes it lighter.
Make sure to set the Opacity of the brush to a small number like 15% or the effect will be too extreme and unrealistic. You can paint over the same spot many times to increase the effect. I can try to find a web link about this if my short description does not make sense.

@Jason, This place was found by chance but some friend of mine always look after when they walk outside. If you do so, im pretty sure you ve got some old abandoned buidings around that you did not noticed before. The aim is to enter it, which is always a kind of adventure but so good to live extrem moments !
